Job Description

We are looking for a talented mechatronics engineer to join our team.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing prototypes for our embedded systems. As a mechatronics engineer, you are in the position to try out many ideas, develop a prototype, test it to see if it meets requirements and then hand it off for further integration into a complex product. Testing and validation is of course a big part of this. Being able to design simple (electro-mechanical) test set-ups is a huge plus.

With such a wide range of activities, you can expect support from our electronics and firmware engineers.

  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • A background in electronics engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with: I2S, I2C, SPI, UART, Bluetooth Classic, BLE
  • Microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, …)
  • Embedded C and C++
  • Proficiency in the English language in word and writing
  • Electronics lab equipment, e.g., DMM, oscilloscope, function generators
  • Being able to read and follow schematics


  • Experience with FreeRTOS (or other RTOS)
  • Fusion 360
  • Experience with 3D printing
  • Soldering SMD components under a microscope.
  • Working with Git
  • Familiarity with Altium/CircuitStudio
  • Python, CMake
  • Dutch language skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proactive, enjoys learning new things, curious, and unafraid of making mistakes.
  • The ability to handle bad jokes.
