SenseGlove for Virtual Training

In this project, you will design an experimental setup to determine the impact of random and non-random (Gaussian) noise on task performance of either a teleoperated task or a VR training task. You will apply increasing amounts of noise to 1) spatial positioning of the SenseGlove 2) finger abduction/flexion readings  3) Vibrotactile feedback (amplitude) 4) Force feedback (amplitude), and determine the effect of noise on various metrics to evaluate the impact on A) hand presence, B) immersion, C) task performance/completion. The results of this experiment will then be used to produce a Bayesian (or similar) filter to reduce the effects of noise.
